Jean-Marcel Malliaté MDR,

Accredited under the National Mediator Accreditation System. Master of Dispute Resolution, Accredited Advanced Panel Mediator, Accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner & Cert IV Work Place Trainer and Assessor, Child Consultant, approved to work with young persons under the Young Offenders Act NSW 1997.

Jean-Marcel has a Masters Degree in Dispute Resolution from the Faculty of Law; University of Technology Sydney. He is a Mediator with over 2000 Mediations successfully completed to date. A Family Law, Workplace and Commercial Mediator, Trainer, and Conflict and Mediation Coach, he also has qualifications in Engineering; Counselling and Social Science. He is on the advanced panel of mediators for LEADR with experience in providing professional services to companies like Woodside onshore and offshore plants, Western Mining, B.P, Shell, Alcoa, a range of other small to large private sector organisations and vast experience mediating for Local, State and Federal Government departments including Dept of Fair Trading and the Australian Taxation Office.

Jean-Marcel trained at the College of Applied Psychology, as well as completing mediation training with the Community Justice Centre, a division of the Attorney General's Department. He is past Vice Chairman of the Citizen Advocacy Organisation and past-Chairman of the NSW Executive Committee of LEADR and a past Executive Committee member of CAPA. (Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association of Australia). He is an accredited and practicing Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and previous senior trainer in mediation and mediator for Relationships Australia and Centacare. Jean-Marcel has been appointed to W.I.P.O (World Intellectual Property Organisation) Panel of Neutrals, based in Genéve, Switzerland. He is a current conference convenor for Dept of Juvenile Justice, has successfully co-mediated in a wide range of disputes both nationally and internationally, obtains regular supervision and speaks a number of languages fluently.

Naomi Holtring MDR

Post Graduate Degree in Dispute Resolution and Master of Dispute Resolution, Law Faculty of the University of Technology Sydney. Her recent academic essay on Compulsory Mediation in Family Law was requested and has been published by LaTrobe University's eLibrary, LEADR and several publications in part or entirely. She has presented her work at the University of NSW Crime, Justice Conference in July 2007 and Institute of Arbitrators March 2009. Board Member of Australian Dispute Resolution Association (ADRA) and member of LEADR Association of Dispute Resolvers.

A Mediator, Co-Mediator, Trainer and Conflict Coach, Naomi is also responsible for Policy, Team Management, Commercial Management, Group Work and Facilitation. She regularly works as a co-mediator in family law dispute resolution, workplace and comercial mediation for small and large companies, the Federal Government, including the Australian Taxation Office.

Naomi has an Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Advanced Certificate in Marketing Management and Public Relations. She has worked with local and international organisations in advancing their presence in the Australian markets. Micheline Dewdney,

Micheline has a wealth of experience in mediation, ADR course design, training and coaching. She has worked for organisations such as UNIFAM, Community Justice, Colorado CDR, Bond University, LEADR, UTS, Macquarie University, The Conflict Resolution Network, the NSW Office of the Ombudsman, the Consumer Claims Tribunal, The NSW and Victorian Police Services, the Australian Commercial Disputes Centre, the Law Society of NSW, and the Aged Services Association.

A co-author of the "Mediator's Handbook. Skills and Strategies for Practitioners. 2nd Edition" Law Book Co. 2004, which is used as a standard textbook for tertiary ADR courses. Tom Stodulka,

Tom has been a lawyer for 30 years having graduated in 1974. He is a specialist mediator, conciliator, facilitator and victim-offender conference convenor. He has held senior positions in Government including National Director of Naval Legal Services, Deputy Ombudsman and Anti-Discrimination Commissioner, Chair Health Complaints Review Committee and Principal Community Visitor for the NT. He has mediated over 650 disputes throughout Australia ranging from family law matters for Relationships Australia in three States, the Qld Federal Magistrates Court, the ACT Conflict Resolution Service to franchise disputes for the National Office of the Mediation Advisor and multi-party disputes involving remote indigenous communities. In May 2006 he co-presented at the National Mediation Conference in Hobart on the Qld Federal Magistrates Co-Conciliation scheme and in April 2005 he presented a workshop at the University of Qld Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies on managing conflict in Indigenous communities and has written articles for the ADR and ADRA Bulletins. He is accredited as a specialist and advanced mediator and mentor with LEADR, IAMA, the Qld Law Society, the Department of Defence, Qld Courts and the Federal Magistrates Court. He also coaches and trains in ADR for Bond University, the University of Qld, LEADR, the Department of Defence and the Trillium Group. Peter Irving,

Peter was admitted to practice as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1979. .

Peter was accredited as a mediator in 1989 by Unifam Family Mediation Centre and was accredited as a mediator (Business and Commercial) in 2005 by the Australian Commercial Disputes Centre.

Peter has been a Local Court arbitrator since 2004.

He has mediated for Unifam and is on the mediator panel of the Law Society of New South Wales and is a Chairperson for Family Law Conferences at the Legal Aid Commission of New South Wales.

Peter has mediated, either alone or as a co-mediator , a wide range of disputes including personal injury claims, professional negligence claims, Family Provision Act claims, Family Law and De Facto relationship disputes, commercial disputes and parent/adolescent dispute.

Marina Bournazos,

Marina has been a practicing lawyer since 1985. She was accredited by LEADR in 1995 and has been a practicing mediator since that time.

Marina has had extensive training in mediation including advanced mediation courses and has had training in workplace disputes. She has undertaken hundreds of mediations, primarily in the areas of Family Law (children's issues, property settlement and child support) and Workplace disputes.

She has worked as a Family Law Mediator with a community organisation for seven years, is a sessional mediator with that organisation and is on the Law Society Mediator Panel. She has also edited various publications for Family Law Community Legal Centres.

He is  an Assistant Professor and Course Leader in Dispute Resolution related programs at the Faculty of Law, University of Hong Kong, lecturer Hong Hon School of Professional and Continuing Education and the City University of Hong Kong. In addition to teaching, his responsibilities included course development marketing and review.

Robert also has a varied career n in-house legal practice. He held the position of joint Director of Professional Practice to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Hong Kong branch, and Hong Kong Intitute of Surveyors.

From 1988 to 1993, Robert was Legal Advisor to the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CiArb) at its London Headquarters. In this capacity he was responsible for detailed oversight of the administration of more than 30 CIArb consumer and small claims artitration schemes.

As a member of council of CIArb from (1998 to 2005 and as Chairman of the CIARB East Asia Branch (2001 - 2002)  Robert was directly involved in policy formulation for all aspects of CiArb activities, in particular, those with international implications.
 
Bill Kable

Bill is an accredited mediator and member of the Institute of Arbitrators & Mediators Australia (IAMA). He has been involved in commercial mediations for many years and is accredited to mediate disputes under the Federal Government's Workplace Relations legislation.

Bill is registered by the Australian Government as a Family Dispute Resolution Provider.

From 2006 to 2008, Bill conducted his mediation practice principally on the mid North Coast of NSW, where he assisted disputing parties in commercial and family law, to reach good outcomes. Now based in Sydney,  Bill is available to travel and conduct mediations in all areas.

Bill is a practicing lawyer with over 30 years experience. As the Corporate Lawyer for a number of diverse organisations, he has advised international manufacturing companies and worked as the principal Law Officer in the food, property and energy industries. He has also worked in private practice with respected Sydney city law firms and in Government as Head of the Legal Department of the State Rail Authority of NSW over the Olympic period. He holds a current unrestricted Practising Certificate as a Solicitor and Attorney from the Law Society of NSW, and is entered on the roll of the Supreme Court of NSW as a Notary Public.

Barry Fregon MBE MDR,

Barry is accredited to conduct training workshops in both Situational Leadership and Total Quality Management. He is an accredited Mediator with LEADR. He is also accredited by the ACT Accreditation and Registration Council for National Recognised Training and holds Certificates in Advanced Vocational Training Systems, Training Development and Vocational Training. Barry also holds an international accreditation as on-line tutor/course developer with the Institute for Supervision and Management in the United Kingdom. Barry has recently completed a second term with the Department of Defence as Senior Workplace Equity/Diversity Adviser/Coordinator to the Maritime Commander - Australia. In that role he is responsible for the implementation and revitalisation of the Royal Australian Navy's Workplace Relationships Training Program. The Workplace Relationships Training Program involved the education of all personnel, through Executive, Senior Management and the Rank and File, on the relevant Acts, policies and practices, and the processes involved in the prevention and/or resolution of complaints relating to unacceptable behaviour in the workplace.

Kim Chapman,

Kim is an experienced educator in the NSW state secondary system at a senior executive level, and has a keen interest in conflict resolution spanning more than ten years. She also works part-time at a Family Relationships Centre as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.

Kim has a strong commitment to ongoing training and professional development in mediation. She has established a lighthouse training system in peer mediation at her current school, other state and private schools by request and fields a team each year in the NSW Law Society's SCRAM competition. 

Kim has trained state school principals in mediation as part of the complaints management process and is deeply interested in coaching. She has trained as a coach with the MPM Coaching Scheme through the UWS (2006). She has been accredited as a mentor and trainer. She has and taken part in the establishment of TAFE Outreach courses. Courses have been jointly developed for delivery to students and teachers in Mentoring (2006, 2007) and Values & Ethics (Term 2, 2007). Kim has written and developed a course "Mentoring in the Workplace - Schoolplace" for training of teacher mentors as part of our Early Career Teachers support program. Based on a VET National Training Package, it was developed as part of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment that she has completed in March 2007. This will be showcased at the State Deputy Principals' Conference in August 2007.

Rosalind Fischl,

Rosalind Fischl is an accredited LEADR mediator with several years experience in teaching mediation and conflict resolution in the school environment. She has conducted training programs and workshops for both teachers and pupils and has set up successful mediation programs in the schoolyard. As well, she has attended many conferences both locally and overseas, with a focus on cross-cultural mediation and workplace conflict. Rosalind has trained in the Metaplan method that is particularly useful when dealing with problems involving large groups of people, whether in the community or workplace. She also teaches effective communication techniques and conflict resolution strategy for both interpersonal and workplace situations.

Coral Slattery,

Coral has a Bachelor of Social Science from Southern Cross University, an Associate Diploma in Social Science (Community Welfare) from St. George TAFE, and is a member of LEADR. Coral has had 16 years experience in family law and child support. She is a co-founder of the Family Law Reform Association NSW Inc. and is NSW Vice President of The Shared Parenting Council of Australia. She is a member of SMAP (Senior Managers Advisory Panel) of the Child Support Agency. Over the past 16 years she has provided a free telephone counselling and referral service, as well as conducting a private counselling and mediation practice for the past five years. She has also worked extensively with grandparents and is a member of the Intergenerational Committee of COTA (Council on the Ageing). Coral’s passion is to see that everyone is treated equally and that children from broken marriages will have the opportunity of having the love and guidance of both their parents. She is married with three adult children and seven grandchildren.

Jeremy Bluhm,

Jeremy has worked as a mediator at a Family Relationship Centre for over two years, has assisted many separated parents to develop agreements and parenting plans. He is accredited by the Commonwealth Attorney-Generals Department as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and is also accredited as a mediator by LEADR, a leading Australia / New Zealand professional association for alternative dispute resolution. He received his original mediation training at LEADR in 2001 and was chair of LEADR's NSW Executive Committee from 2004 - 2005.

Jeremy is the co-author of a book published by Harvard University Press about decision making in a number of large organisations and has experience as a facilitator of problem solving workshops in the public sector.

Pallavi Sinha,

In addition to practising as a Solicitor, she also practises as a Counsellor with a Medical Practice in Strathfield. Simka Ksantini,

Simka is a dedicated practitioner in private practice, with 12 years experience in assisting people to achieve both personal and professional success. She is a clinical member of the GANZ Association, which is a member association of Psychology and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). Simka specialises in relationship counselling for individuals, couples and families. Her approach to therapy includes a respect and understanding for emotional sensitivity, as well as remaining focused and committed to her clients' goals and achievement of outcomes of positive change.

She has created a series of highly effective and practical 6 week courses, designed for individuals wishing to focus on developing a solution to a particular personal or work related issue. Dominique works in private practice providing Child Inclusive Practice for mediation services in family separation cases. She also offers holistic counselling to individuals of all ages, teaching dialogue skills and self awareness through communication, connection and empathy.

Dominique draws on a number of modalities in her counselling approach with children, adolescents and adults, such as psychodrama, nonviolent communication - a humanistic psychology approach - and emotional freedom technique, an energy psychology technique.

Apart from her counselling practice, Dominique has extensive experience teaching and researching in academic environments as well as consulting in the corporate world. The aim and passion of her work, whether it is consulting, counselling or corporate training, is to foster positive cultures in families and workplaces.

Before setting up her private practice, Dominique was working at several tertiary institutions between 1993 and 2007, namely Sydney University, Macquarie University, UTS and University of Western Sydney. Jenny Sanbrook,

Jenny is a social worker with ten years experience in mental health and counselling adolescents and families. She has worked for seven years at the Department of Child, Adolescent and Family Psychiatry (Redbank House) in Westmead, and previously in adult community mental health. She was also a clinical associate at the Family Systems Institute at Neutral Bay.

Jenny has completed a Masters Degree in Social Work in Couple and Family Therapy at the University of NSW in 2005 and has experience working with couples and families in conflict or who are adjusting to separation, divorce or remarriage. She is an accredited Mental Health Worker under the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Program which enables some clients to claim a Medicare rebate. Jenny also has experience in clinical supervision.

Lily Mailler BA(hons) Dip,

Lily is a NSW registered psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society. She has worked as a Family and Relationship Counsellor for both Unifam and Centacare-Broken Bay and has a private practice in Sydney’s Northern beaches. She is involved in the supervision of Macquarie University Masters of Counselling students and teaches counselling skills at the Institute of Counselling , Catholic University, Strathfield campus. Lily has extensive experience in counselling individuals, couples and families on a wide variety of issues amongst which are depression, anxiety, relationship problems, separation, addictions and domestic violence. She is trained in Child Inclusive Practice and also works with EAP clients addressing issues such as work pressures, conflict resolution, bullying and job loss, amongst others. Lily has trained extensively with the Family Systems Institute and is an active member of the Northern beaches “Dialect Behaviour Therapy” group. Her main framework is Systemic to which she incorporates Narrative, Solution Focused, Self psychology, CBT and DBT approaches. Sonja Ridden,

Sonja conducts a private counselling and coaching practice located on Sydney’s North Shore where she works with individuals, couples, families and corporations. She also runs seminars, workshops and courses, covering a variety of topics. Sonja holds a Master of Counselling degree from the University of Western Sydney, a Graduate Diploma from the Australian College of Applied Psychology and has a number of additional professional qualifications. In the therapeutic realm, Sonja works in the areas of relationship and marriage counselling and therapy as well as assisting clients in coping with separation and divorce. She provides counselling for people who suffer from bereavement and other losses, childhood and current traumas, depression, stress, adjustment to life changes, addictions, loss of self esteem and confidence. Her particular passion and focus is in assisting clients build and maintain satisfying and empowering relationships. Additionally, Sonja functions as an executive, life and relationship coach with a special focus on creating emotional, physical and relational health. Stephen holds qualifications in Law, Auditing (OHS and QA), Injury Management and Workplace Training (Certificate IV), and has been admitted as a Barrister of the Supreme Court of NSW. Stephen worked for over a decade with WorkCover NSW in senior legal and policy positions. He was also responsible for implementing new National Standards for Noise, Plant and Hazardous Substances in NSW, and was involved in the development of the OHS Act and Regulation. Stephen consults widely with employer, union and government clients including the NSW Premier's Department, NRMA, Compass Training, Work Cover and the Australian Institute of Banking and Finance.

Over the past 8 years his background has been built across web design, print and online advertising, and trafficking on both publisher and agency sides. Starting first in traffic at BMC Media, David was instrumental in the development of new formats in rich media advertising. Since that time he has worked with emitch to develop creative solutions for clients such as World Vision, Tourism Queensland, Nivea for Men, Colonial First State, and many others. David  is also a Director of Gateways Education and Director of the web design agency Lighthouse Interactive.
